with mission sites in Needham and Wellesley

Confirmation is a class for students sixth grade and older, who are interested in exploring a more significant commitment to God and the Church. The class focuses on faith development and preparation for adult participation in the congregation through discussion and experiential learning. Toward this end, we will cover basic Christian beliefs such as our United Methodist doctrines and history, baptism, Holy Communion, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the history of the Christian church. In the end, our hope is that our confirmands will be prepared to answer questions concerning their own faith development and readiness for church membership.

Youth Group

Youth fellowship offers a nurturing environment for kids in 5th to 12th grade.  Many activities such as bowling, laser tag, skiing or just hanging out together, help youth get to know one another and gives them a safe social environment while other deeper faith building activities help youth make sense of an ever more complex world.  One of the core tenants of our youth development approach is getting youth engaged in mission and outreach.  Helping others is one of the primary ways that youth come to understand the world around them.
